DESIGN:
The coin’s iconic design portrays a bounding kangaroo surrounded by stylised rays of bursting sunlight. Inscriptions on a wavy-lined border include ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’ and the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date, together with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin’s obverse depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
AUTHENTICATION FEATURE:
The coin incorporates an authentication feature on the reverse. In the form of a micro-laser engraved letter, it is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
PRESENTATON:
Presented in a protective acrylic tube containing 25 coins, each tube features a tamper evident security seal.
