The second Dancing Ammolite coin continues the series’ celebration of nature’s most fundamental elements by focusing on the one that grounds and nourishes us all: Earth. The life-sustaining element that lies beneath our feet is beautifully represented here by the blossoming motif that evokes nature’s cyclical rebirth and renewal, and by the branches and roots that are symbolic of steadfast, enduring growth. Selectively plated with yellow gold on the coin’s reverse, these engraved elements surround the ammolite mounted at the centre, where the rare Canadian gemstone embodies the rhythm of life, bouncing and flashing its lively colours with every movement.

Green earth. Ethically mined from Alberta’s Bearpaw Geological Formation, ammolite is known for exhibiting many iridescent colours, including green hues that perfectly reflect the Earth theme for 2025.
A dynamic design. Earth as a grounding force for growth and a vital source of sustenance is also represented in the engraved design that surrounds and complements the dancing ammolite.
A special cut. Your round-shaped ammolite features a checkerboard cut that maximizes its lustre and colour display.

DANCING LIGHT

The genuine Canadian ammolite is mounted and housed in an intricate 3D frame designed and hand-crafted by Canadian-owned and operated Beverly Hills Jewellers. The jewellery mount allows the ammolite to move, “dance” and flash its colour with the slightest movement of its coin base.

SELECTIVE GOLD PLATING

Select design elements, including the gemstone mount, are plated with yellow gold to create a gleaming colour contrast.
